• Pressure wash the entire exterior (removes loose and peeling paint, mold and mildew, dust and pollen)
• Cracks and holes are filled in and sanded smooth
• Bare wood is primed by hand
• Shrubbery, plant beds and flowers are covered for protection
• Windows and decorative doors are covered with plastic sheeting
When The Job Is Done
• All protective exterior painting materials and tape is discarded
• Exterior windows are cleaned
• Ensure any painted windows and doors open and close
• Walk through project with the homeowner
Interior House Painting
When it comes to interior painting, many homeowners are confused about brush versus spray painting. Depending on your goals, one technique might work better than the other. Spray painting can be less expensive than hand brush and roller painting because spray painting is a faster process than brush painting. Fresh Paint recommends spray painting for vacant homes or new construction because of the fumes and allergic reactions. If, after our recommendation, you prefer spray painting your interior, we will make sure all of your belongins are protected from paint dust or oversprayed paint.
Interior Preparation
• Furniture is moved out or moved to the center of the room
• Bulky, oversized, difficult to move items are covered with heavy duty cloth
• Carpeted areas are protected with high traffic plastic
• Tiled, hardwood or vinyl floors are covered with rosin paper
• Imperfect drywall, nail holes, nail pops, cracks, etc. are professionally patched or caulked
When The Job Is Done
• All protective painting materials and tape is discarded
• Furniture is returned to original position
• Ensure any painted windows and doors open and close
